Genius Tools Impact Adapters 1/2" Dr. (Cr-Mo)
Genius Tools 1/2 inch drive Impact Adapters connect sockets of a different drive size to your 1/2 inch impact wrench or extension. Instead of buying another wrench, you can use the sockets you already own across more jobs.
Four versions are offered. The 3/8 inch male adapters (38mm long) step down to smaller sockets for lighter fasteners, while the 3/4 inch male adapters (41mm long) step up so a 1/2 inch tool can turn larger 3/4 inch drive sockets. Each size comes with a pin hole or a steel ball.
The pin hole style is used with a retaining pin, giving a positive lock that keeps the socket on during heavy impact work. The steel ball style uses a detent ball, which is quicker when you change sockets often. All adapters are made of Chrome Molybdenum steel.
Keep a step-down and a step-up adapter in the same drawer as your 1/2 inch impact sockets. They are compact enough to carry in a tool bag and let one wrench cover small and large fasteners on the same job.
