Genius Tools Hook Head Torque Handle Fittings
Genius Tools Hook Head Torque Handle Fittings let you torque round, slotted fasteners such as bearing lock nuts, spindle nuts and threaded collars. The hook engages a slot in the nut, and the 14 x 18mm insert connects the head to an interchangeable torque handle so you can tighten to a set value.
Hook wrenches are needed wherever a nut has no hex flats. Using one with a torque handle means bearing preload and collar tightness can be controlled instead of estimated.
Seven heads are available, each covering a clamping range of plus or minus 5mm: 32mm (14H012), 43mm (14H016), 50mm (14H075), 60mm (14H025), 63mm (14H100), 72mm (14H032) and 82mm (14H150). Measure your nut diameter and choose the head whose range brackets it.
The catalog also offers these seven heads with a 40 to 210 Nm or 30 to 150 ft. lbs. 14 x 18mm torque handle in a blow case set, a convenient route for shops starting from scratch.
