Genius Tools Extra Long Taper Line Up Punches
Genius Tools Extra Long Taper Line Up Punches extend the reach of a standard alignment punch. When holes are buried behind other parts, or when heavy components need extra leverage to move into line, the added length lets you get the taper in and work it from a comfortable position.
The series is made of High Speed Tool Steel, as printed in the catalog, so the tapered tips hold their shape while you drive and lever them.
Five punches are offered. The 5mm tip is 305mm long with a 160mm taper, and the 5.5mm tip is 355mm with a 180mm taper. The 6mm tip is 405mm long with a 210mm taper, while the 8mm and 13mm tips are both 455mm long with a 230mm taper. Body sizes (H) step up from 3/8 inch to 1 inch.
These are ideal for heavy equipment, truck chassis, steel structures and large flanges, where holes are big, parts are heavy and a short punch cannot reach.
