External star fasteners have become common on cars, trucks and equipment, and a regular hex socket will not grip them properly. Genius Tools E-Star Impact Sockets have a star-shaped opening that fits these bolt heads, letting you remove and install them with an impact wrench instead of struggling with the wrong tool.
The series includes 14 sizes: E-8, E-10, E-11, E-12, E-14, E-16, E-18, E-20, E-22, E-24, E-26, E-28, E-30 and E-32. Lengths range from 38mm to 46mm, so the sockets stay compact for work around engines, transmissions and brake components.
Each socket is made of Chrome Molybdenum steel and has a 1/2 inch square drive. Pair them with an extension or universal joint for fasteners further out of reach.
