Genius Tools E-Star Hand Sockets 3/4" Dr.
External star bolt heads, often called E-Torx, appear on many trucks, engines and pieces of modern equipment. A regular hex socket will not fit them properly, so a dedicated E-Star socket is needed to turn them without damage.
This Genius Tools series uses a 3/4" drive and covers six large sizes: E-18, E-20, E-22, E-24, E-26 and E-28. The bigger drive gives you the strength to handle these heavier fasteners, which are typically found on drivetrains, suspensions and large mounting points.
Socket lengths range from 50mm on the smaller sizes to 60mm on the E-28, keeping them short and stable on the bolt head. The catalog page also notes that deep E-Star hand sockets are available for fasteners on longer studs.
Each socket is made of Chrome Molybdenum Steel, giving it the strength to grip star-head bolts firmly under heavy turning force.
