Genius Tools E-Star Hand Sockets 1/4" Dr.

Many modern cars, trucks and motorcycles use external star bolts, often called E-Torx, on engines, transmissions, brakes, seats and interior trim. Genius Tools E-Star Hand Sockets with a 1/4 inch drive are made to fit these heads correctly.

The series covers the small end of the E-size range with seven sockets: E-4, E-5, E-6, E-7, E-8, E-10 and E-11. A matching deep version is available for star bolts on longer studs.

The star-shaped opening engages each lobe of the bolt head, which spreads the turning force and avoids the slipping and damage that comes from forcing a hex socket onto a star fastener. At 22mm long, the socket stays short for working in confined spaces.

Each socket is made of Chrome Vanadium Steel, a strong alloy widely used in quality hand tools. Use them with any 1/4 inch drive ratchet, spinner handle or extension.
