Genius Tools E-Star Hand Sockets 1/2 inch Dr. are made for external star fasteners, the star-shaped bolt heads found on many modern cars, trucks and engines. A regular hex socket cannot grip these heads properly, so the correct E-Star socket is essential for safe removal and installation.
The series offers fourteen sizes from E-8 up to E-32, covering the small star bolts used on trim and brackets as well as the larger sizes found on brake calipers, suspension components and engine mounts.
