Genius Tools E-Star Deep Hand Sockets 1/4" Dr.
Genius Tools E-Star Deep Hand Sockets with a 1/4 inch drive give extra reach for the external star (E-Torx type) fasteners used throughout modern vehicles. They are useful where the bolt sits on a stud, down a bore or behind other components.
Seven sizes are available: E-4, E-5, E-6, E-7, E-8, E-10 and E-11. These are the same sizes as the standard-length 1/4 inch drive E-Star sockets, so you can have both a short and a deep socket for each fastener.
At 50mm long, the deep body reaches recessed fasteners while the star opening engages every lobe of the head. That full contact spreads the load and helps avoid rounding the head, a common problem when the wrong tool is used.
The sockets are made of Chrome Vanadium Steel, a durable alloy that suits regular automotive use. They fit standard 1/4 inch drive ratchets and extensions.
