Genius Tools Collet Head Torque Handle Fittings attach to a 14 x 18mm interchangeable torque handle and grip round collet nuts and clamping rings. With the head fitted, you can tighten these nuts to a measured torque rather than by feel.
Collet and clamping nuts are found on machine tool holders, spindles and many types of equipment. Consistent tightening helps hold tools securely and avoids over-stressing threads.
The series offers five heads, each covering a clamping range of plus or minus 5mm: 32mm (14CH16), 35mm (14CH20), 42mm (14CH25), 50mm (14CH32) and 63mm (14CH40). Choose the head whose range includes the outside diameter of your nut.
Because all five share the 14 x 18mm insert, they work with the same torque handles as the catalog open ended, ratchet and hook heads, letting a single handle cover a wide variety of fasteners.
