Genius Tools Center Punches

The Genius Tools Center Punch is the simple tool that makes accurate drilling possible. Place the point on your layout mark, strike the head with a hammer, and it leaves a small dimple that guides the drill bit and stops it from skating across smooth metal.

This series comes in five point sizes: 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 8mm. The smaller punches, at 100mm and 110mm long, are suited to fine marking on thin sheet and small parts, while the 6mm and 8mm punches, at 140mm and 160mm, give a heavier body and longer reach for thicker stock.

Every punch is made of High Speed Tool Steel. That hard steel helps the tip keep its point through repeated hammer strikes, so your marks stay crisp and consistent over time.

Pick the single size you use most, or keep several on the bench so the right punch is always at hand for the job in front of you.
