  • Bit holders let a socket wrench drive hex-shank bits, turning your ratchet into a high-leverage screwdriver or hex driver.
  • Hex shank sizes available: 1/4 inch, 5/16 inch and 3/8 inch for SAE bits, plus a 10mm holder for metric bits.
  • 1/4 inch and 5/16 inch holders come in 39mm and 46mm lengths; the 3/8 inch and 10mm holders are 39mm long.
  • Using a ratchet on bits gives far more turning force than a hand screwdriver for stubborn screws and fasteners.
  • Made of Chrome Vanadium Steel, as printed for the Genius Tools hand socket accessories on this page.

Genius Tools Bit Holders (39mm - 46mm)

Genius Tools Bit Holders (39mm - 46mm) connect hex-shank bits to a socket drive. Fit the bit into the holder, attach the holder to your ratchet or extension, and you can drive screws, hex and other bit-type fasteners with the leverage and speed of a ratchet.

Six versions are listed. The 1/4 inch hex shank holder is offered in 39mm and 46mm lengths, as is the 5/16 inch holder. A 3/8 inch holder and a 10mm holder are available in the 39mm length. Choose the shank size that matches your bits, and the longer 46mm version when you need a little more reach.

Bit holders are especially useful on fasteners that are too tight for a screwdriver or where you want to break a screw loose before finishing by hand.

These holders are made of Chrome Vanadium Steel. Keep the sizes that match your bit collection with your 3/8 inch drive tools.

  • Type: bit holder
  • Hex shank: 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 10mm
