Genius Tools Adapters 3/8" Dr.

Genius Tools Adapters 3/8 inch Dr. connect a 3/8 inch drive tool to sockets of another drive size. The female square end fits your 3/8 inch ratchet, extension or handle, and the male square end accepts the socket.

Two versions are offered. Item 320020 steps down from 3/8 inch female to 1/4 inch male and is 30mm long, ideal when you want the extra leverage of a 3/8 inch ratchet on small 1/4 inch drive sockets. Item 320040 steps up from 3/8 inch female to 1/2 inch male and is 35mm long, letting you use a 1/2 inch drive socket for a job when the bigger ratchet is not at hand.

Keeping both adapters in the drawer means fewer tools to carry and quicker changes between socket sizes on the same job. They are short, so they add little length to the tool stack.

Both adapters are made of Chrome Vanadium Steel.

  • Type: socket drive adapter
  • Input: 3/8" female square drive
  • Output: 1/4" male (30mm) or 1/2" male (35mm)
  • Material: Chrome Vanadium Steel
