Genius Tools #5 Spline Dr. Deep Thin Wall Impact Sockets
Some truck wheel fasteners sit deep in narrow recesses where an ordinary impact socket cannot fit around the nut. Genius Tools #5 Spline Drive Deep Thin Wall Impact Sockets are made for that situation, combining a slim wall with a deep body.
Three sizes are offered: 1-1/16 inch, 1-1/8 inch and 1-1/4 inch. Their outside diameters at the nut end are only 40mm, 42mm and 46mm respectively, which is what allows them to enter tight pockets.
Each socket is 80mm long, providing the depth to reach recessed nuts and pass over the stud. The 6-point opening grips the flats of the fastener, spreading the force evenly to help avoid rounding.
They are made of Chrome Molybdenum Steel and fit heavy-duty impact wrenches with a #5 spline drive. Keep them alongside the standard and deep #5 spline sockets for a complete truck wheel service setup.
