Genius Tools 3/8" Dr. Stud Bolt Sockets

Installing or removing studs usually means jamming two nuts together and hoping they hold. Genius Tools 3/8 inch Drive Stud Bolt Sockets take a cleaner approach: the socket threads onto the stud, so your ratchet or driver can turn the stud directly into or out of the substrate.

This 3/8 inch drive series covers smaller metric studs in four thread sizes. Choose M6 x 1.00 or M8 x 1.25 in a 40mm socket, or M10 in either 1.25 or 1.50 pitch in a 46mm socket. Matching both diameter and pitch means the socket threads on smoothly and holds the stud firmly while it is driven.

These sockets are made of Chrome Vanadium Steel for strength and long thread life. They suit engine assembly, cylinder head and manifold work, and general machinery repair where small studs must be set accurately. For larger studs, see the 1/2 inch drive stud bolt sockets in the same catalog section.
