Genius Tools 1/2" Dr. Metric Stud Remover Sockets

When a nut seizes and twists a stud, or a stud has to be replaced, you need a way to grip it directly. Genius Tools 1/2 inch Drive Metric Stud Remover Sockets slide over the stud and grip it as you turn, letting you remove studs that cannot be taken out with a regular socket or the double-nut method.

The metric series covers seven sizes: 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm and 16mm. The 6mm and 8mm sockets are 63mm long, and the 10mm through 16mm sockets are 74mm long, giving room over the exposed stud.

Each socket is 1/2 inch drive, so you can use a ratchet for quick work or a breaker bar for stubborn studs. They are made of Chrome Vanadium Steel for strength and durability. A practical tool for exhaust manifold, wheel and engine stud work, and paired nicely with the SAE stud remover sockets for mixed fleets.
