  • Long 1/2 inch drive hinge handles (breaker bars) give the leverage needed to free tight, rusted or over-torqued fasteners.
  • The hinged head pivots, so you can pull at an angle to clear obstacles and then spin the fastener off upright.
  • Soft grip handle versions come in 420mm and 630mm lengths for comfortable, secure hard pulls.
  • Red plastic handle versions come in 410mm and 620mm lengths; the longer bars multiply your force on stubborn bolts.
  • Made of Chrome Vanadium Steel to stand up to the high loads of breaking seized fasteners loose.

Genius Tools Hinge Handles 1/2" Dr.

Genius Tools Hinge Handles 1/2 inch Dr. are long, non-ratcheting breaker bars with a pivoting drive head. When a wheel nut, suspension bolt or crank bolt will not move with a ratchet, the extra length of a hinge handle multiplies your effort and protects the ratchet mechanism from overload.

The hinged head lets you set the handle at the angle that clears surrounding parts and gives the best pull. Once the fastener breaks free, raise the handle upright and spin the socket by hand.

Four versions are available. The soft grip handle comes in 420mm and 630mm, and the red plastic handle in 410mm and 620mm. Choose the shorter length for general work and the longer one for the toughest fasteners.

Every hinge handle is made of Chrome Vanadium Steel and accepts all 1/2 inch drive sockets. Using a breaker bar for the first turn also saves wear on your ratchets.

  • Type: hinge handle (breaker bar)
  • Drive: 1/2" square
  • Handles: soft grip, red plastic
  • Lengths: 410mm - 630mm
