72 Teeth Reversible Ratchet 1/4" Dr.
- 1/4 inch drive reversible ratchet with a 72-tooth mechanism for driving small sockets in tight spaces.
- Seventy-two teeth mean the ratchet engages every 5 degrees, so it keeps working even when the handle can only move a little.
- Reversible action switches between tightening and loosening without removing the ratchet from the fastener.
- Three handle lengths are offered, 140mm, 160mm and 165mm, to balance reach and leverage for the job.

Genius Tools 72 Teeth Reversible Ratchet 1/4" Dr.
The Genius Tools 72 Teeth Reversible Ratchet with a 1/4 inch drive is a compact ratchet for small sockets, bits and extensions. It is well suited to automotive interiors, electrics, small engines and equipment where fasteners are small and space is tight.
A 72-tooth mechanism gives a fine ratcheting action. With 72 positions per turn, the ratchet picks up a new tooth every 5 degrees of handle movement, so you can keep turning a fastener even with a very short swing. The reversible design lets you change direction without lifting the tool off.
Three versions are listed, with handle lengths of 140mm (280272), 160mm (280272P) and 165mm (280272S). A shorter handle fits more easily into cramped spaces, while a longer one adds leverage for slightly tighter fasteners.
The ratchet is made of Chrome Vanadium Steel. Pair it with the Genius Tools 1/4 inch drive sockets and extension bars for a complete small-drive kit.
