The Genius Tools 36 Teeth Ratchet w/ Quick Release 1/2 inch Dr. is a ratchet for driving 1/2 inch sockets, extensions and adapters. The 1/2 inch drive is the size of choice for suspension, wheel, engine and chassis work where more force is needed than a 3/8 inch ratchet can comfortably give.
Its 36-tooth mechanism uses fewer, larger teeth than a fine-tooth ratchet, giving a simple, sturdy action. A quick-release button lets you change sockets in a moment and helps keep the socket attached when reaching into tight spaces.
Three versions are available with different overall lengths: 255mm (item 480431R), 275mm (item 480431P) and 285mm (item 480431S). Longer versions give a little more leverage on tight fasteners.
